Jerry,

Straight and narrow, eh? Oh yeah. Woody Hayes. My mom had him for American History in H.S. I've noticed that TV heads have gotten to the point recently where in reading Fla. law, they say hey, here it says if a commission starts hand-counting, it must count ALL the votes...and this, meant for within a county...perhaps for county wide races...or is it? Perhaps it's a good indication that if you hand-count punch-cards in a statewide race, you have to count ALL the counties. What DOES the Fla. law say, in other words.

I like what the FSC tried to do. Boise didn't convince them, and you can bet a bundle he won't convince the SC that the FSC got this aspect wrong...oh no, not in this case. I rather suspect he might leave the argument alone this time...I just don't know...but it surely would fail again. Gore just isn't going to get any more partisan territory included alone than he already has, ESPECIALLY after the FSC ruling.
