Conolog Reports Record Results for Profitable First Quarter
Revenues 238% of Revenues Reported for Same Period Last Year
SOMERVILLE, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 15, 2000--Conolog Corporation (NASDAQ: CNLG - news, CNLGW - news) announced today that it has reported record revenues of $1,812,205 for the first quarter ended October 31, 2000, 238% of revenues reported for the same period last year of $763,014.

The Company reported a total pre-tax net income for the first quarter of $181,686 or $.02 per share versus a pre-tax net loss of $400,093 ($.07) per share for the first quarter of fiscal 2000.

Robert Benou, Conolog's president, commented, ``Fiscal 2001 will see tremendous growth in all sectors of our business, due to our highly selective acquisition strategy and the signing of several major product contracts. These contracts have resulted in a significant increase in backlog orders for our inventory that exceed any we've experienced before, and which we will fulfill over the remainder of fiscal 2001 and fiscal 2002.''

Benou continued, ``The Company is working hard to address NASDAQ's review that the Company's common stock has failed to maintain a bid price equal or greater than $1.00 as required under Marketplace Rule 4310 (c)(4). Prior to March 8, the bid price of the Company's shares must be equal or greater than $1.00 for a minimum of 10 consecutive days to demonstrate compliance with this requirement as set forth in the NASDAQ Marketplace Rule 4800 Series.''
