Harry,

Have you considered the possibility that the USSC can not make a valid ruling until they have heard the evidence?

Have you heard of state's rights?

I don't want to shock you or anything, but have you considered the fact that the Fl Supreme ct ruling was in fact unconstitutional. Isn't that a possibility? Even Fl Supreme Ct.'s chief justice said so in his dissenting opinion.

Harry,

If the FL Supreme CT's ruling was clearly unconstitutional, I think the US Supreme CT's vote would not have broken so close to a split. In fact, the vote appears to blatantly follow ideological lines. In the past the Ct has been known for doing just the opposite; that is why it is considered the most august judicial body in this country.

And I am not saying that the Fl. Supreme Ct. may not have down the same thing but its the difference between cheating in the minors vs the majors in baseball. It really bothers me if this is the way it ends up.

In any case I am truly tired of these partisan discussions. I am more than willing to go through the public process we are witnessing because I think it is very important to our system of government. It is a reminder that we are one of the significant democracies in the world, and I hope in the end we do not fall short of that honor. In addition, I am prepared to accept the defeat of the candidate for whom I voted. However these attempts to discredit each other's post have gotten old and a little silly. I believe we need to set them aside and await the outcome.
