You have an answer from Sig. Great site, I bookmarked it. I have not been following short interest as much as I used to.
I just looked in IBD and one of the Psychological Market Indicators is Public/NYSE short sales(above 0.6 Bullish; below 0.36 Bearish) Current 1.36, 12 month high 1.36

Friday the last 15 minutes or so the market or at least strong stocks made most of their move. A market that is strong at the end of the day is bullish.

Freeus. The problem is that Short figures are only reported once a month and are now due out again soon. Who knows how much short covering has already taken place. I think much of it.

They should have to report short figures once a week IMHO.
