Chic- Be careful or you might end up being in the wrong 50%.
We are in the market to make money, not to be right. Shorting stocks is very dangerous and buying options very expensive. Be aware that the odds are against you when you buy puts or short stocks. A NASDAQ at 600 is very very unlikely, IMHO.

other people have posted predictions of a nas at 600.

i do not believe that half this thread will go long although they may buy selectively. buying a micro cap stock like vaso for example at, oh 2 or 3 bucks, would be different than buying into the qqq. and if 'half the thread' went long with 10 % of their assets after making money on the short side, they'd only be playing with house money anyway.
