Tinker,

Now that the market euphoria is over I am stilling myself for more disciplined gorilla investing.

Ahem. I've seen that comment a long time now. :) Seriously, best of luck to you!

I nominate SSTI as best performing gorilla for 2001.

I believe it is a gorilla in low density flash already although it is not yet apparent to those that do not look closely.

I do not understand the nature of their patents which they claim will make their SuperFlash technology the industry standard, but I see from their licencees and rev growths that it is becoming the industry standard.

They also claim to have the fastest CompactFlash cards and are making noises about their IP in this area making them a gorilla in high density flash too.

In terms of growth, they only started lift off just over a year ago, in terms of stock price, their forward PE is in single figs and their 2001 growth rate is forecast to be in excess of 100%. That is why I think they will be the best performing gorilla of 2001.

Voop, I could not have done it without you!

Just happy to contribute my little share.

All the great ones need a straight man.

And I would like QCOM to be the best performing gorilla, if I get a choice.
