A former Clinton White House counsel suggested Scalia should Recuse Himself that isn't something I'd give much credence to. However, should the question of recusing oneself be taken seriously...I think the son should be the one to do that. The Supreme Court being able to function, as a whole court is much more important than a lawyer who can easily find a replacement. From researching this issue, it appears the son is not active in the Bush team, but only a partner in a firm that is. I have no problem with the status quo.
