the journalist reported that 1 in 3 ballots in those counties were thrown out

Were those the areas where they went out and bused in thousands of Haitian immigrants?

Seems that to a democrat, it doesn't matter if a person has citizenship, just so long as they vote for the donkey.

But the issue is clear... the standards for discerning "the clear intent of the voter" MUST be the same as they were in previous elections.

It is pretty obvious that "count every vote" was not the creed in these counties in previous years. In fact, Palm Beach county denied the right for a manual recount to a female republican. She had lost by a mere 11 votes in a local election some 3 months ago.

But they denied her....maybe because she was black (where was Jessa Jackson then?) But they granted a manual recount to Gore, who carried Palm Beach, and changing the standards for validating ballots to boot.

That is absolutely unconstitutional. And that is why democratic judge after democratic judge has ruled in favor of a Bush... Sanders Sauls, who COMPLETELY rejected Gore's arguments. Terry Lewis... Judge Clark in the Seminole county case... And Chief Justice Wells, who offered that scathing dissenting opinion on Friday....

They are all democrats... But even they can see where they have no right to rewrite the law....

Sure.. have the legislature change the law for future elections if they wish... but you CANNOT change the rules after the game is over. That just defies all logic...

Especially when the preliminary results are in, and Gore's team now know how many votes they need to obtain a victory..... That makes discerning a result inherently unfair.

That means counting only enough votes to give Gore a victory.. So let's not fool ourselves.

Ron
