CW said Virgil was equipped in all his finery, which extends his height to eight feet. To the eight feet they added a ten foot pole with a big sign, which made Virgil an impressive 18 feet high. The students plastered him with KTRU stickers. It was his finest hour-- until the Dean of Engineering came out and told CW to get Virgil out of there. He didn't ask Virgil his opinion, but then Virgil is underage and CW is merely a babysitter. CW asked all the reporters to not use pictures of VIrgil or mention him becuase the dean was not very happy about the use of a million dollar robot to wave Rice is a Fascist Regime banners.
I would have loved to see a picture of Virgil the Activist Robot.
CW has moaned for two years about how apathetic the students are at Rice, so he is clearly thrilled with this awakening of political consciousness. I think those kids are so busy studying they have no time to rebel.
I can't wait to see CW's grades this semester.
