What's naive about that? Can you prove Gore was a party to that suit? Irrefutably? You assume he is but until proven, it is just assumption.

IF the same mode of assumption is used, then it can be assumed that Bush is behind the push for the Florida legislature to assign the electors.

And I believe it would be naive not to believe that he is.
