Lets rephrase it then. The Florida legislature would have a tought time violating a solution that the SCOTUS came up with. Remember those folks need to get reelected too and the Florida senate already has shown a reluctance to proceed in certifying their slate of bush electors.

You seem to have decided that the FL statute requiring certification within one week supersedes all other FL and US law.

What is this based on other than political convenience?
