Interesting post, as is usual from you. As I said it was some conspiracy oriented radio show. Wasn't sure what to think. Why did Jennifer Dunn think that getting at the ballots wud be difficult? If the Bush camp thinks that there is a good possibility that Gore might be shown the clear winner after counting all the ballots at some later date after Bush has already "won". How do u think that they might be preparing for this? Ru2

Your arguments are out of gas. The ballots in FLA were counted the same way they were counted in every other state. The Republicans didn't want them manually counted because it served them no useful purpose. They had won through the conventional count and the conventional recount. Gore wouldn't have asked for a recount if he had won the state in the conventional count. He would have fought every bit as hard as Bush did to avoid a recount. Anybody who doesn't believe that wasn't paying very close attention at Seminole county when one of his cronies tried to throw out the absentee ballots or when he proffered guidance to disqualify the military absentees. This is politics pure and simple. The losers cry foul. Get over it.
