The country is much more divided now than it has been at any time since the Civil War. I have only seen this getting worse in the past few weeks.

And if Algore would have a shred of character and act in a manner such as Nixon and Ford acted, we would not be so divided. Shame on Algore for creating this problem.

Ridiculous. You are hopelessly and recklessly partisan and without reason. Time to calm down and tone down. Listen to Dick Gephardt. JLA

LOL.

I'm sorry.
Your reference to scorched earth policy as applying
only to the Bush camp is just too darn funny.

Better go look again....
In fact, if I'm not mistaken, there have
been prominent Democrats who've acknowledged
that their policy in this mess is scorched earth.

One need only look at the proliferation of
litigation from all these various Democratic
citizens. Who do you think encouraged them?
Murdoch?<g>

Once these issues went to court, all parties
played hard ball.

The sad part is that Gore didn't know when to
stop. He should have taken a leaf out of
Nixon's book and backed off for a few years.
As matters stand now, if he loses this time,
he's finished. Hillary is licking her chops.
