Dataquest places high end router market at $8-10 billion in 2003. (Juniper pegs it at $15-16 billion) I expect them to take at least 50% of Dataquest's numbers. I also expect them to make inroads at the low end enterprise market space and acquire a few high growth niches. Bottom line, I think they will do $1 billion (minimum) in 2001. $2.5 billion in 2002 and $4 billion in 2003. They will also still be growing at a very healthy clip in 2003. As long as they take employees and share from the gorilla they will be rewarded a nice premium IMO.
