Really? I'm curious now, can you cite the statute? All of the quotes in the media and the few fragments of the statute I've read have quoted "...an error in vote tabulation..." which could be read to include any source of error, be it machine error, damaged ballots, or mis-votes. Seems like there is case law for counting mis-votes - that's effectively what happened in the Beckstrom case.
