Dave I agree....jumped on @ 36 1/16 nice rally.... nice bounce in CAMP ,INTC,MSFT,JDSU,NT,RMBS...an on and on....<g> AGERE SYSTEMS FILES WITH SEC FOR IPO Agere Systems (Lucent Microelectronics) announced today that it filed a registration statement with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) for a proposed initial public offering (IPO) of its common stock. Morgan Stanley Dean Witter is the lead manager for the underwriting group for the offering. A registration statement, also called an S-1, relating to these securities has been filed with the SEC. The S-1 provides a narrative description and financial overview of the business. It is required prior to the IPO and is provided as a means to inform investors about the upcoming offering. Agere Systems is seeking to have its shares trade on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol AGR. [NOTE: A copy of the registration statement can be viewed at sec.gov in the SEC's EDGAR database. It may take several hours for the SEC to post the S-1 on its site.]
