1) INTC says it will have a 10GHZ processor in 5 to 10 years.

2) IBM says that combining SOI and low-K with its .13 copper process will allow it to produce a 10GHZ processor

3) AMD's SOI low-K process on .13 copper goes into production at the end of next year

Sounds like a 4 year lead for AMD.

Yep, I was surprised. Nice showing on the part of both AMD and Intel. AMAT is up 4 as well...must be news.

Edit. Just checked...no news on AMAT.
