Eric,

This proves that the Intel P-IV is WILDLY over-hyped and over-priced. No-one on this planet of a sane disposition is going to fork out over £800 on a CPU alone when you could buy a complete Duron system for that money and have it performing almost as well. The fact that a £100 processor can nearly match an £800 one is testament to AMD's impressive array of technology and amazing prices.
