Dear Tench:

Elections for President flow from the US Constitution to US Congress to The State Legislature to the people. USSC has jurisdiction in interpreting the Constitution and Federal Laws passed by Congress. FSC violated both the US Constitution and Federal Law which superceeds any state's law including their constitution. Thus the USSC can and will trump FSC when conflicts arise from FSC rulings and the Federal Law. Look at the US Constitution and Article 3 Section 5 for all the justification needed. The FSC changed the rules after the fact and so violated the Federal Law above.

Better luck next time is the rule.
