The market is discounting significantly bloody times based on accounting rumors and general weakness in the dot coms. These short-term price innefficiencies (oversold) will get corrected over time. When expectations are this low and fear this deep, there is a lot of room for a major move up on decent news. "No comment" by management is interpreted as the worst-case news.

If you have faith in this company and their management then don't get too hung up on this particular cycle. They didn't suddenly get "stupid".

JMHO (SUNW currently $33.50 as of this post.)

Bill Joy selling SUNW is actually a declaration in
'contrary_indicator.c'. It's low level. He gets it either
To add insult to injury, the fellow is down
something like 90% this year with a (badly) managed
'profesional' portfolio. Joy has to sell SUNW because
everything else he owns is underwater.

And on some level that's probably not too dissimilar to
Steady Eddie and Mike Lehman (and some of their neighbors),
in the whole scheme of options flow.
