>>>One of my favorite subtitled movies is Das Boot, where the captain tells Johann (the half-wit) "Gut, Johann, gut.. gut".<<<

I remember seeing "Das Boot" about 20 years ago. Wasn't it was the story of a German U-Boat Submarine Commander who, after the Submarine lost its IP officer (know as the "Herr Uberlinnuzen") tried to get the ship's computer to start using 98SE.

What???!!?

Scumbria,

A lot of the right wing folks on this thread have said that the FL SC decisions have been completely partisan. Thinking ahead, the Seminole and Martin lower court decisions are being appealed to the court. If they were truly partisan, they could reverse those decisions, and hand the election to Gore. The FL SC's ruling would be difficult, if not impossible, to appeal to the federal courts, as it would be a strict reading of the statues.

Of course that decision would be hypocritical, based on their rulings that voter intent is the most important thing. But if they are as partisan as the right wingers suggest...
