As one of the many on this thread who is not an attorney, I am interested in your comments about the Supreme Court session just concluded. Any change in opinion? Anything surprise you?

That's the scam. Nothing is ever decided.

that's why we have Courts. They decide these types of issues.

In yet another example of our screwed up legal "system", 3 judges can't agree on whether the the law allows the people of Cleveland to decide where to send their kids to school. Maybe the Supremes can decide. Yea right. The courts are part of the problem, not the solution.

Cleveland Voucher Plan Struck Down

The Sixth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals has struck down Cleveland's school voucher program. By a 2-1 vote a three-judge panel held that the program, which allows students to attend parochial schools, violates the constitutional separation of church and state. A Supreme Court appeal is likely.
