rude... it's only my opinion based on watching this stock/company closely over the last 3 years and my belief that a stock's action will reflect the health of the Q and the company before the health of the Q and the company is publicly revealed. I truly believe that Capellas hates like hell to warn and that it is so close that they are scrambling to make it in the last 2-3 weeks. I also believe that where there is smoke there's fire and that, even though WS functions on the herd mentality, too many are jumping on the "CPQ will warn" band wagon at this stage of the game. That we haven't heard from Capellas also concerns me. If the Q were in the bag, one would think, what with the fact that he has jumped in more than once before with positive comments to bail out the stock, that he would at least come forward with a word now. I know you don't believe in CEO's holding shareholder's hand in bad times but Capellas has already established that pattern or posture, imho, so that we don't hear from him now puzzles me. all of this is only my "gut feeling' as you suggested. I would rather see him warn than paint himself in a corner with these spontaneous positive comments like "sales are robust" only to have to eat those words later. Obviously, the stock is suffering for some reason other than "normal trading." Nas up 100, DELL is up 8 12% today and CPQ is up 2 1/2 % today. Something is amiss here and I'm very concerned about MC's reputation. Hope I'm wrong and you are right! El
