Had to repost these lines from the register's article about the new Intel 10GHz processor. Generally I do not like the Register site very much because of its British "Yellow Press" style of reporting but this one is a good one......

Every county in the country uses a different standard for determining votes (different systems, different equipment, etc.) For the Supreme Court to suddenly wake up and get concerned about it now is beyond ludicrous. It is none of their business, and they are acting like a bunch of senile old biddies.

Some heavily Gore precincts in FL had 30% rejection of ballots. Is that uniform?
