Kevin,
I am still long a bunch of stocks. But poised to short. I think the opportunity will be brief and based on Interest rate/earning fears. I would like to see a clear reversal back down first. We definately have been in an upward trend. I think it is because of the election coming to fruition, added with positive interest rate news. We have the FOMC meeting the 19th. 2 good events to play off. However, I would be cautious shorting just yet...I agree that we have come back too much too fast, but we may have a lot farther up to go. I think we already hit bottom or close to it and 2001 will be a good year for Tech stocks in general. It all depends on interest rate policy really.

OT Hummm ! Get a job one day and the next day your firm gets hired to do the job. From CNN -

<<<Some Democrats raised alarms Monday because two sons of U.S. Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia work for law firms connected to the case. John Scalia accepted a position with the Miami-based firm Greenberg Traurig on November 7. The next day, Barry Richard, a partner in the firm, said he was called about representing Bush in Florida. A second son, Eugene Scalia, is a partner in the Washington office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher -- the firm representing Bush in the Supreme Court arguments. He is not involved in the case. >>>

not so soon Sir! Shorts already thought 2800 was the upper limit and got burned. Then they thought 2900 and got burned. Then 3000 and got burned. IMBO I still say we finish the year at 3600 +.
