To allow further counting would be meaningless if they rule against AlGore the Loser because they would not be counting legal votes.

First, the ballots are not valuable as evidence, for reasons constantly reiterated. But second, Nixon did not destroy the tapes, or they would not have come to light. I have no idea where you got the line of dialogue.......
