Elwood - I prefer the term 'pragmatic'. The fact is, with all the positives, new management, emphasis on servers, blah, blah, blah, the stock has gone nowhere for years. I've said many times that I learned quickly the first time Compaq hit the skids and then had that strong recovery to the 50 level. Started trading it from then on, and had very nice results. Hopefully someday Compaq will have a nice run. The question is when. By the way, I scanned a bunch of financial rags a couple days ago at Barnes and Noble, and as I recall in the current issue of Business Week they were speculating about the possibility of the server market becoming similar to that of the PC market in the near future, with increasing competition on the price front, and negative consequences for all.

Regards,
John
