Merrill gets today's "Thanks for Sharing" award:

From Briefing: Openwave (OPWV) 76 1/8 +3 59/64: Merrill Lynch downgrades to NT ACCUM from NT BUY. Firm expects the company to likely exceed their December quarter estimates on revs of $98 mln and EPS of ($0.02) and may raise estimates for calendar 2001 at its analyst day January 31; however near-term says they have incremental information which in the current market makes them more cautious.

Is it me or is this market really a Fellini movie? Analysts are traders now? And what the heck is "incremental information" that could matter with that fundamental backdrop? We'll just have to guess!

I'll talk bit more about SNDK both technically and business wise later today. It's so coincident that yesterday, I drove by one of their new buildings in San Jose and saw the parking lots is kinda full, I were thinking to post this little observation this morning and forgot. :)
By the way, there's many knowledgeable people on SNDK thread. Rex Dwyer used to be one of the active poster before he joined Firsthand fund. You can search his posts.
