Wayne, OTCM has a bunch of off the wall names. GRF, too, though they don't do nearly the research that Royce does on OTCM.

You might want to take a look at the Wasatch Funds. They have some interesting holdings in non-tech small caps. Many of them are "boring" companies with steady growth and high returns on equity.
