Dumb question ...

We all know that computers gives off some kind of radiation. The disks contain motors, and motors contain magnets. So probably, computers give off magnetic energy.

Now, remember those old-fashioned mechanical wrist-watches? I'm referring to the kind that would be damaged by magnets. Now, I wear a mechanical watch when I'm working on the computer, and I'm wondering if I'm making a mess of the thing (The watch, not the computer) and should be removing it first.

Does anyone know?

Cheers, PW.

I use a laptop, so I'm not doing any 'distant' keyboard stuff. My wrist rests above the DVD.
