bambs, The one thing you need to remember is that the market will react ahead of the economy. IMHO, the market these days will react far earlier than the economy will...markets will see the light at the end of the tunnel sooner.

I also feel Cisco is about to make a move. It is surely now preferable to MSFT, INTC, DELL types of stocks. It remains in a growth sector with big barriers to enty..basically a 2 horse race with JNPR and Cisco...I think both companies are very happy about that.
Cisco is expanding into other areas..and I have seen a lot of deals being announced lately, including in optical.

I had predicted 3500 on the Nasdaq by year end. However, I am now thinking that it could also make a run for 4000 by early January if economic conditions indicate a soft landing. We are at the beginning of the start of a bull market in the Nasdaq, IMHO. Just look at the semis lately.

I noticed a lot of money going into the big cap Nasdaq stocks, maybe a sign of a lot of new money.

BTW--Glad to see that you are willing to play this on the long side as well...even if for a short time.

Bambs,

I too have avoided posting you as well... but wrt to emotion.. there is no emotion here. You have made your bed by incesantly posting the bulls about how they are in denial - how "dumb money" was going into the market everytime there was a bear rally. Your posts have been inflamatory yet you get one post that challenges you and your undies get in a knot. Whatever. The facts will bear themselves out. If you feel the need to repost things I said 8 months ago remember... I have been on SI for over 4 years and have more history to chose from. YOu have every right to selectively find stocks I've recommended which have not done well. You can't win 'em all. You can conviently ignore thost that did well. If that makes you feel good - go for it. I'm not sure anyone here really cares... but that is your perrogative... but that seems like an emotional recation - LOL!! Just remember - what goes around comes around my good friend. ;)

OG

BTW: When did you go long CSCO? You said you sold this morning at $54.. but that you don't go long overnight - especially over a weekend. You never said you were long then all the sudden.. bang you sell. Uh... right. How is it you're on the right side of every trade... and always in hindisght. Truely amazing. Of course investors here no better - the only person you fooling is yourself... uh... oh... and apparently your bretheren.
