As a metaphysical question, we do have to ask about the potential of evil existing before evil actually existed in manifest. So Satan was once good, then became bad? Where did he find the "bad"? Where did evil come from before it was put in the universe? Who is responsible for putting it there? Did they have a choice? I say no!! I think these are essential questions if we are to explore the nature of God. I think we will find considerable (potentially irreconcilable) difference of opinion.
