you're probably right that the lights don't work after having been up all year (or in some extreme cases, years).

i wonder what the likelihood would be that these people could test their outdoor lights periodically throughout the year? say around april, then again in august or september? just run 'em for about three or four nights in each of those months, to make sure they are all set for december.

now that would be special. and in no way annoying. i would probably admire a guy who left his outdoor lights up all the time AND tested them in april and august.
