Utilities have been the best buy for a year.
I picked the bottom last January.

Deregulation will not come easily.
My prediction..., the unfolding of a significant disaster for the average American household and then a significant Boom for alternative energy and transportation vehicles in the next 10-20 years.

Business cannot be trusted to fairly distribute a resource so vital to this country. This experiment will be looked back upon as a disaster and the fabrication of cartels. Further more, this deregulation will also be responsible for the single largest expansion of alternative energies the world has ever seen. The Oil and Gas industry already knows there's an abundance of natural gas throughout North America. Through poor management of that resource we now have a contrived shortage, with absurd prices..., which is only the beginning. The international community has allowed the consolidation and fostered the conditions we now face.

We've just begun consiquences and to hear about this new set of problems. It's the basis of the next serious decline in our economic cycle.

But you don't have to worry, if Gore wins..., Texas will be seceding from the Union and forming an alliance with Mexico. Lott and Armey already have contingency plans. Your state will have enough energy to run your expansionists plans into Mexico. <smile>
