3Com forms development alliance with Broadcom

update 3Com, a maker of equipment to link computers, gave Broadcom the right to purchase about 2 percent of its stock and formed a development alliance with the maker of communications chips.

Broadcom will pay $35 million for a warrant to acquire 7.1 million 3Com shares over two years, chief executive Henry Nicholas said in an interview.

Sorry if this has been covered, but I've not followed 3Com for some time now. Is there any stats on how well 3Com's Audrey product is selling and being received?
