It's surprising that Intel folks are not dumping all over AMD for their warning. Maybe some sense is coming to this thread (if not to the AMD threads), that both companies prosper or not together, depending on the marketplace. Competition is a secondary issue, in fact focusing on competition hurts both companies and the stockholders.

Hopefully there will be some realization of that fact by the management of Intel and AMD. Market share without profits is like (fill in the blank).
