Does Mises agree that inflation can be cured by simply renting money?

Thanks for the interesting history, hb. I hadn't remembered that he had been a finance official during Weimar. We think of today, and our election, as being polarized, but compared to the '20s and especially '30s, this is basically quibling among mostly like-minded people. Dr. Schacht was able to raise so much money for Hitler because the divides between the right and left were serious and deep, and both sides determined to win the world. Seeing the current favoritism toward the Republicans by the business elite is a shadow of that former time, imo.
