Do you have backup or is that your hunch?

Problem is, nobody's using the cell phones to acces the web

Victor...I'm one of the "nobody's" who uses a cell phone to access the web. I also have a Palm VII for wireless email..and checking news/stock quotes. However...I mainly use both when I'm on vacation, or away from home. (much easier to take a Palm VII and/or cell phone than a lap top computer!)

IMO wireless messaging is just beginning....all of the people you see carrying cell phones will IMO in the future be retrieving email and messages from their wireless devices.

For complicated Internet use, and for speed of searching the Internet, a PC is much easier to use. But...being able to check email when away from a PC has some major advantages.
