I am glad the Braves did not spend that much on him. Take the money and wrap up Smoltz, Glavine, Maddox, Millwood and others. They may not win the world series ever again but you can bet they will be there again. Pitching is where it's at. V

A shortstop? Unless he wins the golden glove each year for 7 years(he can get out of the contract then) and hits over .300 every year...AND gets his team to the World Series. I don't think he is worth it, but hey, ANYTHING to stop the Yankees from winning every year. At least the Rangers will have a major league team, unlike our AA team with a new stadium.
