I like leaving off the prefix portion cause all my neighbors and friends are ALLAMERICAN Now here are a couple of questions I like to pose to my RL friends and associates when I want to create some hot air to warm me up ..... it isn't hard to see which ones rile up which ones ....hehehehe What is inherently wrong with "counting all the votes" ? ...... I like the idea myself in theory ..... What about all the "uncounted votes" in all the states? .... betcha there're a whole bunch more than these that are being "contested". What is wrong about kicking out the ballots (making them cease to be "votes") when the voter can't follow simple instructions? ..... when I served as an election judge several times, as well as other members of my family did ..... we eliminated them from being counted when they were incorrectly marked .... and at that time had no idea of who cast them or what ethnic background the voter was .... it was just an incorrectly cast ballot and didn't get to be counted as a vote..... What is wrong with being highly politically oriented toward "your own" party ? .... I don't have one of those myself, but have no difficulty with my friends who are .... the heads/past heads here locally ... of both the Dems and the Reps ... are fairly close friends of mine ... matter of fact, I fined several at Rotary Friday and a bunch of them live within two blocks of where I do .... from my front porch I could see a bunch of signs for both parties .....and I'm still trying to get a Hillary sign so I can put it in my front yard NOW ..... Why is it that blacks vote overwhelming Demo? .... could be that the Reps don't have any values that are appealing to them.... not that they are evil. Why didn't Gore carry Tenn? .... dunno .. could be they know him too well..... and I find that disturbing. Why didn't Bush reveal more of his past .. from personal conduct to grandfather conduct? .... could be that it wouldn't "play too well" with the electorate ..... and I find that disturbing. Why can I see on TV these "strident and caustic" folks and know that whatever side they're for ... I'm against? .... hey, the Dems win that one ... hard to see many nonscreamers/articulate/reasonable folks ...well Dick Durban and Hillary come to mind immediately .... What is wrong with lowering the amount of taxes the folks who pay taxes pay? .... not going to even comment about that for my pop taught me that paying taxes was a fine thing and not one to bitch about ... and was part of the cost of living in this great country. Why is there a quite evident double standard on drug enforcement? .... there is .. that is all there is to it but that is not an answer I like. What is this even doing in the courts at all? ... and I don't like it that it is. Why do I trust the US Supreme Court to arrive at a decision that is correct LEGALLY ? ... maybe I'm naive Why does the Fla Leg have to pick electors today ?... I understand to keep from having a contested group but it just doesn't feel right to me. Why is it that an organization which goes by NAACP not racist when one named NAAWP would probably be castigated strongly as mucho grande racists? hmmmmm .... wonder why but it would be .... Am I the only one out here who likes SI because I can't get a preconceived notion about who is who as far as these things go ...... gender, race, creed, color, bias, etc ..etc.... from anything other than what is revealed ... and even that can be not all the truth, but I can form a good impression from what is implied and that I infer ... from reading lots of posts from them ..?????? and sometimes change my mind later ..... there ... that ought to warm up things ....... hehehehehe ps >>>>> no rocks intended at any ONE .... if it hits too close to home, maybe that says more about the one who gets upset than it does me ....... as to my catagory of personal traits/genes at the start of this post .... the white part is German (maternal GF 100%, born in USA), French, Dutch (maternal GM about 50-50 on those, born in USA) with Cherokee and Choctaw thrown in ... the non white part that tad bit of redskin from above and Lebanese (father 100%, born in USA) oh yeah, and I'm a card carrying Catholic and I own several guns, too ...... and another oh yeah .. I sent Chickie a PM in which I urged him to not do what I just did cause I didn't find it fair that he got jumped on about his post ........ gggggggg
