Are you denying that the democrats went after these votes? Not at all, they obviously went after the votes. They tried to hold the absentee ballots to the strict Florida standard (which ironically, Katherine Harris detailed before the election) to get an advantage for Gore. I just don't think that justifies the kind of broadband, high-volume attack on the Democrats' patriotism that the GOP carried out in response.
