kzap: Yes, I think it is 95% likely that Gore will lose tomorrow. The count in Florida was halted by a Supreme Court justice (Scalia) who has visited GWB at his Texas ranch. What we saw today at the USSC was a farce ... theater of the absurd; yes, there was some intelligent questioning regarding matters of law, but it was all for show. O'Connor was handed her job by Reagan; Clarence Thomas's wife is a Republican operative, on and on. Like Tilden, Gore will lose the election even though he in fact won the electoral vote and the popular vote.
