Maybe because they can't understand the CEO on conference call. But more likely just because the brokerage houses want to buy some shares for their own inventory. After they have "stocked up" so to speak, they will upgrade the ratings. These guys are about one micro-mill above a lawyer on the ethics scale. Need I say more?

When this thing starts up, hang on to your hats. Just look at SNDK. I can't believe the PE (21)on SSTI. Is there something I am missing?

The knock on SSTI was that the fear that flash memory is a commodity like capacitors. I'm sure the analysts felt that demand for flash memory was easing as the economy slows down so hence the downgrades. I doubt that near term having listened to a few of SSTI presentations and INTC saying last week that flash was one of the only bright spots for theem this last quarter.
