Dude,

You are totally clueless if you believe static photography is able to capture a three dimensional "dimple" or indentation or scratch. I'm not talking about hanging chads or perforations. I'm talking about "dimples".

As an exercise of logic, why don't you take a piece of paper, or better yet, obtain some ballots and create some dimples or indentations yourself. Now take pictures of the front and back of the ballot with the "dimples" and tell me that you can discern the depth of the dimple. Next, take pictures of the front and back of an unaltered ballot and compare with the pictures of the dimpled ballot. Of course, I'll spare you the trouble and tell you that you can't tell any differences because it's impossible to gauge depth unless you also have a side picture of the ballot, which isn't going to happen.

Hasn't it occurred to you why the vote counters in Broward, Palm Beach or Miami/Dade Counties were viewing the front, back and side of the ballots?

Regards,
