Re USSC and FSC: Let's see. We had a 4-3 ruling in Florida and 5-4 in D.C. Add 'em up and that's 8 vs. 8. Kind of like the split in the country now, isn't it? Can't logically argue that the USSC is not partisan but the FSC is. That's the bottom line. This fight is 99% politics (who knows whom, whose wife or son works for whom) and about 1% "rule of law." I was very buoyed to see on TV some "Impeach Scalia" signs outside the Supreme Court building. Warmed my heart.
