What about the credibility of both the court and the election result with the American people? Make no mistake, I think the Dem's legal actions have led us to this unfortunate point, and that the right thing for the USA would have been for Gore to concede after the first recount. Fact is we're here now. If the presidency is decided by direct judicial action, it's going to rub more than half the people the wrong way and taint Bush's presidency. It is, at least, troubling.
