J.T., I concur. The MomenuMonkey has given another very bearish signal. Today at 11:30 CST, when the S&P stood at 1377.9, the MomentuMonkey Indicator when from NEUTRAL to SELL. Red warnings signals all over the place! Near-term target for the S&P 500 Index is 1304, down 5.3%. Momentum has turned VERY NEGATIVE from NEUTRAL. Valuation has turned POOR from NEUTRAL. I remain 100% in the Pro Funds Ultra Bear Fund (2x S&P short).

Best wishes to all,

David

With Bush finally geting his day, futures predictably are up big overnight and the Bulls must deliver the goods of a Strong CLOSE tomorrow:

Bulls will have to deal with another GAP upside opening which they better hope gets filled in the first few hours.

Negative Earnings Pre-Announcements continue and we welcome CPQ and EK and HON among others to the family. No doubt there will be more to follow.

Market bellweather GE was weak today in light of HON news keep an eye on it that it doesn't break 50. It closed at 52 13/16 down 2 1/2.
They took out NDX bellweather SUNW and axed it up good on No News over the past few weeks so GE holding 50 is critical.

Lets see if the market can give Bush a honeymoon that will last more than 1 day or if it is buy the rumor sell the news.

The market now turns its attention to Mr G. and FOMC meeting on the 19th and more of the same: Earnings earnings and more disappointing earnings revisions...

Still 50% Short SPX URSA Fund and 50% Long XAU Precious Metals Fund.

Bets Regards, J.T.
