Bill,

I used to post under my real name. Problem was that my SI posts would come up if anyone did a web search for my name. Lots of people (well some might) search for my name related to my profession. Didn't want to mix my private investing with that.

Your point, though, about the aliases being a cover for mendacity is well taken.

Ben PS IPMCF had a trade yesterday and went up 900% to a penny. BUY BUY <g>

I see your point.
or
Agenda, not identity

One of the points that I have tried to make on these investment forums is that the agenda of a poster is readily discernible.

In these forums, like any other walk of life, internal consistency is not something that is visible.

My name has little to do with who I am or what I profess. The agenda that I follow when posting is obvious. I stand to be counted like any other poster, I am here, count me.

The "Spin" has many facets and I play a part in the direction that the top takes. Even if people just come to read quips, they do read, and when they do I have an opportunity to interject.

My faceless nature makes my message more palatable to some and that is required. Many people would listen to Mr. Charters, if they didn't know it was Mr. Charters.

I don't seem reasonable Bill, I am.
