You can buy this foil in BC .. the place we get Maseca [masa for tortillas], rice, and black beans in bulk is an indian store, mostly east indian clientele ... the foil is extremely thin, like gold leaf [which they have as well, as i recall], and they keep it under the counter up front beside the little boxes of six-loonies-per-gram saffron ... next time i go i'll ask about it ... it's for festive occasions, priced above daily use for average people, was my impression.
