hi bob

"I use Norton Clean Sweep to clear IE"

me too. but with netscape, i was partial to the ease of slipping into preferences and dumping what i wanted to with just a few clicks. cleansweep, as you know takes awhile to open. the clickstream becomes rather involved, requiring the user to confirm an awful lot of mundane choices, imo. plus i always leave 'safety sweep' turned on, so in order to clean cookies, i have to first scoot over to the options menu and turn it off so that all cookies can then be selected for deletion. naturally, then, i have to go back to options to turn safety sweep back on.

suffice it to say i enjoy and rely upon the thoroughness of cleansweep, but i often favor the speed and ease of use of just dipping in and getting out, like i have with netscape preferences.

:)
